THE FUTURE IS WIRELESS

Both in private life and in business, wireless technology is applied in ever more processes these days. Several investigations show that this trend will only continue to increase in the coming decades.

Two consecutive editions of the RFID event in the past years have proven that also in Belgium the demand for Wireless controled processes keeps growing. To better fit the frame in which these processes are situated, the exhibition programme has been widened. For this reason the name for the event has likewise been modified .

Primarily, emphasis will be laid on RFID - RTLS - MESH - WLAN.
Additional attention will be paid to WMS, GPS, ERP, EPC, Bluetooth, UMTS, CRM, ZigBee, NFC, ...
Like the RFID event, Wcti 2009 presents a combination of commercial standbooths and informative business cases. The latter will be accompanied by several plenary lectures.

On the exhibition floor, the e-lab research group of the IS department: Electronics-ICT of the Department of industrial Sciences & Technology of the Artesis University College Antwerp arranges for some live demonstrations.

On 28 May 2009 you can meet the future at the Metropolis Business Centre in Antwerp.
